How do I use a single blade razor?Updated a year ago
If you remember only one piece of advice, it's this: don't press into your skin like you're using a plastic razor. That's a big no-no. It's weighted to add all the pressure you need to shave.
But if you'd like to remember more advice, read below!
Before:
• Shave at the end of your shower so your skin & hair are soft.
During:
• Apply SUGARCOAT Moisturizing Shave-to-Gel Milk so your razor glides effortlessly over your skin.
• Slow down! Take it slow over bony areas (like shins & ankle bones) and have patience through the learning curve. Shaving is a thoughtful experience, so be more present!
• If your skin is particularly sensitive, shave in the direction of hair growth.
After:
• Keep your skin moisturized between shaves with Featherweight Hydrating Body Gloss—it helps to prevent ingrown hairs.
• Store your razor in a dry area—bacteria and skin don't play nicely together. Change your blades after 5-7 uses.
